This use of the inverted flag in the context of Black Lives is very appropriate. After the unfortunate events that occurred this summer, The Black Lives Matter movement was emphasized not only just by the community, but media and political entities as they tried to drive progress.

On May 14 2021, over 60 protesters gathered in Solidarity with Palestine and spoke against the inhumane acts taken by the Israeli government throughout the continuing conflict between Palestine 🇵🇸 and Israel 🇮🇱

“The Palestinians are an oppressed people like our black and brown brothers here in the states” – said Kate Daher, a member of the Pittsburgh Palestine solidarity committee as she and others delivered their remarks asking for the U.S. citizens to inform themselves on the conflicts abroad.
This “drive-in” rally is the first major democratic campaign rally in the city with over 120 cars in the premises.
“Things are different this election, because we really know what is at stake. We need to work hard and get out to vote for Biden.” said Sara Goodkind, a college professor.
Sanders took the stage at 4:00 p.m. and all supporters proceeded to get out of their cars and gather around the podium to hear the former democratic candidate. Sanders commenced his speech by questioning the president and asking for the united support of every American on November 3rd.
“For all of those that have put lives on the line to defend American democracy, I say, that we cannot sustain another four years of Donald Trump” said Sanders “We have got to come together, Blacks, Whites, Latinos, Native American, Asian Americans, gay and straight, those of us born in America, those of us who immigrated to America, we have got to come together as one people to show our strength and evict Donald trump from the White House.”
